Shot in the dark- Poet CJ

Never to be seen coming yet felt like hot iron
Shooting through the dark burning hot with desire

Direction doesn’t matter with the speed it travels
When it strikes just know the imagery splatters

Hot as a bullet and just as fast
Leaving a mark that can be the last

No other movement in this darkness could shine so bright
It could bring to hope to a heart full of fright

As the shot picks up speed
It’ll gather up all the information it needs

To ascend to the stars to claim it’s place
To become the victor of it’s personal race

To light the dark and lead the way
Being right on time to save the day

Even in the darkest hour
The shot makes sure you feel it’s power

Strong and willed to never cower
This shot displays the ultimate power

To be cool under pressure yet explosive when needed
To take pride in its wins and never be defeated

To leave a mark is the mission
It’ll only happen if they all listen
