Night Walk- Poet CJ

As I enter the night
The feeling is right

Judged by none and joined by many
This is a feeling of distinct energy

Creeping around the corner is the next enemy
Hoping to drain me of this distinctive energy

Yet this walk can’t be interrupted by just anything
Thoughts freelancing to come flying up with any wings

Walking through a night that breeds uncertainty
Yet I breed on chaos so that doesn’t worry me

Am I enemy or ally to the creatures of the night
Only time shall tell if I do what’s right

Though these nights are dark, They provide no fear
Listening closely to vibes that sparkle very near

As I approach the energy
I find no enemy

Only myself, surrounded by a power that I’ve never felt
In the night is where I found this power, I had to accept it I couldn’t dare cower
