Out of space- Poet CJ

The feeling of a need to grow is necessary
That doesn’t negate the fact that it’s fairly scary

All of your old passions evolve while you favor a new one
This time has come while your prior passions have business that remains undone

Needing room to stretch and become accustomed to your new form
While simultaneously attempting to keep your old seat warm

Fearing the growth does nothing but worsen the pains
Watch where you stretch and keep making gains

Even when you feel like you’ve reached your limit
Keep pushing until you’re confident that you did it

You’ve broken your shell
Now you can heal so well

Now the tides have changed
All for the great chance to gain

Throughout all this change you’ve become greater
All without waiting until later

Now you have all the space you need
